Perencana Dingin and UniKL MFI Collaborate on Malaysia’s First Rain Test Facility for Rail HVAC with Sustainable Water Management Focus

Perencana Dingin Sdn. Bhd. has partnered with UniKL Malaysia France Institute (UniKL MFI) to develop Malaysia’s first rain test facility dedicated specifically to rolling stock HVAC systems. This facility will incorporate an advanced wastewater treatment system to ensure sustainable and responsible operations at our rain test and washing bay.

UniKL MFI, the first institution in Malaysia to establish the Centre for Water Engineering Technology (CWET), brings valuable expertise in water management and environmental engineering to the collaboration. The partnership includes joint R&D on wastewater treatment solutions, reflecting our shared commitment to innovation and sustainability.

As part of this collaboration, UniKL MFI will also send students to participate in the project—demonstrating Perencana Dingin’s strong industry commitment to developing future talent. This hands-on involvement will provide students with real-world experience in engineering and sustainability while encouraging the development of technical solutions that are not only innovative but also commercially viable.
